Check Box Services was founded by Brenda Ha who realized that as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, professional, friend, mentor and class parent, she couldn’t juggle it all and keep a healthy work-life balance. As she talked to folks from all walks of life, she quickly came to realize that she was not alone. A common sentiment felt among many busy professionals today is that there just isn’t enough time in the day to achieve all that needs to get done – at home and at work. But of course, she did not want to outsource her projects and tasks to just anyone. The network of professionals following through on her behalf would need to be trustworthy, credible and intelligent. So Brenda set out to create a company with this very profile – based on the attributes of trust, credibility and intelligence.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Brenda graduated from Havergal College and Queen’s University School of Business. After 2 years in Cambridge, Massachusetts at a .com startup, she came back to Toronto and spent the next 12 years at two major Canadian financial institutions, in increasingly senior management roles.
Brenda’s passion has always been about supporting people – whether they are business partners at the Bank, family and friends, or in the community where she lives.
